A new gallery with about 300 images from the 2010 MCAS Miramar Airshow was added to the site tonight. Now on to editing images from the 2010 Aviation Nation Airshow at Nellis AFB and breaking in my new Canon 7D body.

2010 Reno Air Races Gallery Added

A gallery with over 1,100 new images from the 2010 Reno Air Races has been added to the Airshow section of the site today. I really enjoyed my first trip to the air races this year and look forward to shooting them again in 2011.

2010 Airshow Season Comes to an End

Wrapped up a very successful and very busy (7 shows) 2010 airshow season this past weekend at the 2010 Aviation Nation airshow at Nellis AFB. New shows on the short list for 2011 so far are Chino, Air Venture in Oshkosh, and NAS Oceana. Until then...lots of editing from the last three 2010 shows :)

Traveled to San Diego from Las Vegas for the 2010 MCAS Miramar Airshow this past weekend...really enjoyed shooting this show for the first time. Airshow season wraps up in November with Aviation Nation at Nellis AFB. Until then lots of editing to do...still working on Reno Air Race images and now have Miramar as well.

Home From the 2010 Reno Air Races

Back home in Las Vegas from a week shooting the 2010 Reno Air Races. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience...so much activity and subjects to photograph. This is definitely something any aviation fan should attend at least once. Up next on the shooting schedule is the 2010 MCAS Miramar Airshow...this will also be a first time trip.

In Reno, Nevada, for my first trip to the Reno Air Races...looking forward to shooting the action on the ground and in the air for 5 days.

2010 NBVC Airshow at Pt. Mugu Gallery Added

Spent last weekend shooting the 2010 Naval Base Ventura County at Pt. Mugu Airshow. Early morning fog and delays in the show schedule made for some challenging lighting conditions to shoot in, but it also made for some creative composition opportunities. A new gallery with just about 400 images has been added to the Airshow section.
